FkN JPGs was a performance series staged across the Internet. It started on CAM4, an adult webcam site where every week for a year I choose a man from my pornography collection and mimicked him and his surroundings, using special effects (green screens) and real transformations (tattoos). Episode 52, Moonikakas is shown above. While performing I asked the audience to document things. After performing, I archived their photos, videos, and chat on Tumblr; photographed the props for iStock and then sold them on eBay; remixed the documentation and uploaded videos to Vimeo; shared music from the performances as an iTunes playlist; printed chat on a POAM scarf; and finally published everything as a Lulu trilogy for the poetry collective TROLL THREAD. In the end, becoming what I desired proved to be too much for the web because FkN JPGs was banned from most of these sites.
