once im logged out is a sequential photographic portfolio built from two independently organized systems. One consists of everyday objects used as props throughout a decade of performances. The other consists of titles selected at regular intervals from a ten-year chronology of digital correspondence. The objects are photographed as monochrome still lifes whose restrained symmetry and dark tonality ask the eye to adjust before familiar forms emerge, no longer as functional objects but as remembered ones. Similarly, detached from the people and conversations that produced them, the titles shift from communication toward elegy while preserving their original wording, spelling, and chronological position within the larger archive. Neither system serves to illustrate the other. Instead, meaning emerges through sequence, chronology, and the changing relationships among photographs, titles, and time.
